Why Law School Costs So Much - Mises Institute

Why Law School Costs So Much - Mises Institute

This is an somewhat old article (2002), but still relevant, as there has not been a radical restructuring of our legal system in the past few years. Even as this has overtones of Dean Baker's "Conservative Nanny State", and Kevin Carson's focus on "barriers to entry", the author is clearly a right-libertarian, and fails to see how this system limits access to legal advice, and consequently establishes a system of exploitation, wherein the legal system favors the wealthy (who can afford lawyers) over the poor (who are isolated from lawyers).
